Hello Everyone. My name is Richard Glover. I am 15 years old, and a Freshman at Flagstaff High School in Flagstaff AZ. I am currently working with one other student, Josh Andrews, along with Marc Buie. our job is to educate the general public about Pluto and Charon (kar-on). We are attempting to bring you Pluto over the "Live From Hubble Space Telescope" broadcast. We are competing against Jupiter, Uranus, and Neptune for three orbits of the HST (Hubble Space Telescope).
This job came very unexpectedly. my science teacher and his collegue, Ken Harkey and Dave Brown, asked me if I might be interested in doing this. Of course I said yes. Now I work Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays on this. I love every minute, and I look forward to doing more of it.
As for myself, I am, of course, 15 years old. I was born in Kanab Utah. My interests are: computers, Fantasy Novels (Especially "DragonLance" by Tracy Hickman and Margaret Weis), Programming, Star Wars, Science, Drama and the Theatre, Speech and Debate, Astronomy, Photography, Role Playing Games, Science fiction, Literature, etc... One day I hope to go to UC Berkley, Cal-Tech, MIT, or the U of Utah to get a masters degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
