This document is a procedure description of how to run kbomatch. This program finds the linkages between newly measured objects which have just looker IDs and previously known objects. This procedure covers running kbomatch on a single night's data (as known by YYMMDD). You should strive to run this just once per night. This takes a reasonable amount of thought and effort and if you do it multiple times you just make more work without really adding value. On the following lines, a leading % means the command is run at a shell prompt, a leading IDL> means the command is run from within IDL, and a leading SQL> means that you would enter the command to the mysql client.
