The Rotunda at Lowell Observatory

Brian Taylor, Telescope Scientist, Boston University

M.S., Physics, 1994, University of Oklahoma

Brian was the initial lead programmer for the Lowell Observatory Instrumentation System (LOIS). He also worked with Ted Dunham to help build Lowell’s CCD systems. In addition, Brian worked with the USRA to help define the Mission Control Software for SOFIA and assisted Dave Osip at MIT with the MagIC camera on the Magellan Telescope in Chile. Brian is a skilled rock climber.
