Deputy Directors of Lowell Observatory

David SchleicherDr. Schleicher?s major research interests include the physical properties, chemical composition, and behavior of comets. He uses a variety of observational tools plus theoretical modeling in his studies. In 1986, he discovered with Dr. Robert Millis the periodic variability of Comet Halley ? a discovery that profoundly affected the interpretation of all observations of the comet including those from the Giotto and Vega craft. David is an accomplished photographer.

Stephen LevineStephen is the Deputy Director for Technology and DCT Commissioning Scientist at Lowell Observatory.

Kay manages all of Lowell’s business functions, including its accounting, auditing, and human resources departments, as well as buildings and grounds projects. Kay comes to Lowell with over 30 years of business experience (16 years in Flagstaff nonprofits) and a love for soccer and dogs.
