We're open daily in December from noon until 5:00 PM MST, and Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday evenings from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM MST (we may close earlier in poor weather). Look here to see our year-round hours.

The Current Night Sky (3rd - adult) Hear an overview of the stars, planets, and other celestial objects visible in the current night sky. |

Comets, Asteroids, and Dinosaurs (3rd - adult) Find out about the nature of comets and asteroids, including how one or more impacts may have led to the extinction of the dinosaurs. |

Cosmic Cart (all ages) Enjoy fun and interactive demonstrations illustrating scientific concepts. Dry ice, liquid nitrogen, and various chemicals are used. (This program is $25 extra.) |

Clark telescope tour (all ages, daytime only) See the historic 24" Alvan Clark refractor and dome. |
|
Historic Rotunda tour (all ages) Tour the building that contains historic artifacts and astronomy displays. Through December 3, 2008, also experience A New Perspective on Mars. This temporary exhibit features breathtaking 3D images recorded by the European Space Agency's Mars Express Mission, and is a feast for the eyes. |

Pluto Telescope tour (all ages, daytime only) Visit the 13-inch telescope used to discover Pluto. |

Solar Telescope viewing (all ages, daytime only) Safely view the Sun, our amazing star, through a filtered telescope. |
